Adah Sharma Takes Kiki Challenge Despite Warning From Mumbai Police

The “Kiki challenge”, also known as the “In My Feelings” challenge”, has taken the internet by storm. However, it has made Police around the world warn people against doing the challenge after multiple people attempting the viral dance have been injured. Thousands have been inspired and are seen taking up the challenge, many ending up with terrible results. Some videos of the dances uploaded to the internet show dancers crashing into poles, tripping on potholes, being hit by cars or falling out of the cars.

Kiki challenge involves jumping out of a moving car and dancing alongside it to Drake’s hit ‘In My Feelings’, while the car continues moving. The craze of the challenge began when internet comedian Shiggy posted a video to Instagram of himself dancing to the song. Since his video went viral, many people have taken up the challenge.

Celebrities, including Will Smith and Ciara, have joined the challenge, posting their own videos of the dance – though neither jumped out of or danced alongside a moving car.

And recently, Telugu actress Adah Sharma, in her apsara costume, sneaked away from her shoot and attempted the challenge and posted it on twitter. This is what the actress wrote and posted on her social media account:
In the video, the 26-year-old actress is seen doing a mix of three dance forms – Bharatnatyam, hip-hop, and Kathak.

Police from around the world have warned people that the dance challenge is dangerous and people caught trying it could face criminal charges.

And Mumbai police on July 26 wrote on Twitter that the dance could put others’ lives at risk, warning people to “Desist from public nuisance or face the music!”
However, it seems like the warnings have done little to stem the tide of attempts with Ada Sharma becoming one of the first Indians to take up the dangerous dance challenge.
