After devoting two years completely to this film, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’ has now taken shape and the first official teaser of the film just dropped. On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, the makers of the film released the first teaser of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. The film is a period drama and displays the journey of Rani Lakshmibai. ‘Manikarnika’ would trace the series of incidents that took place during the uprising of 1857 focusing on the contribution and battles led by Rani Lakshmibai, one of the most feared female warriors in the Indian history.
In the teaser of the film, Actress Kangana Ranaut could be seen playing the mighty ‘Manikarnika’, fighting for freedom from the British rule, while she rides her way to glory in the battlefield. Amitabh Bachchan’s deep baritone narrates the tale of ‘Manikarnika’ and introduces the ‘Queen’ in the teaser.
There is no denying to the fact that the teaser of the film is spectacular in every aspect. The grand sets, the special effects, the cast and the story might create a win-win situation for the film.
The film looks promising in every aspect right from costumes to action sequences; it appears as if the two times National Award winner Kangana Ranaut has given her best shot for the magnum opus.
The visuals of the film are quite impressive and leaves one dazed. The film is also being compared to SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’.
Hollywood’s celebrated action choreographer Nick Powell has managed the action sequences of the film. ‘Manikarnika’ is directed by National Award Winner Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi.
