In 2003, there came a film that won our hearts for innumerable reasons. Apart from being Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's debut film, it was a breath of fresh air as Bollywood wasn't doing justice to college romance and the whole idea of old school romance until then.
Till today the film remains a delightful watch.
Be it Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's chemistry or the way Mambo's (Vishal Malhotra) character has been sketched out, the film till today remains iconic and memorable.
And now, after sixteen years its release, producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed that a sequel to the film is on its way.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, producer Ramesh Taurani say, “Yes, we are making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. The story is in the scripting stage and could be about a teenage romance. Hopefully, in the next two-three months, we will lock the script and start looking for the director and cast.”
The production house is yet to zero down on the cast and director and considering how big a hit the first part was, the expectations from the sequel will definitely remain high!
