The much-anticipated film The Accidental Prime Minister’s trailer has released and as it was expected, it already created a buzz. This is a biopic based on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s 10-year tenure. Just days before its release, it sparked controversies.
The film trailer shows how Manmohan Singh’s was controlled by Sonia Gandhi. It has been surrounded by several controversies over the characterization of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his relations with the Congress.
Now on Wednesday, the film grabbed one more trouble.
A petition was filed against Anupam Kher and other members of The Accidental Prime Minister in Bihar court. Lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a petition in the court claiming that the film ruined the images of certain prominent leaders of the Congress party like Sanjaya Baru, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra and Rahul Gandhi. The reports have also said that the hearing of the case will be held in the Sub Divisional Judicial Court on January 8. The petition has also been filed against the producer and director of the film.
