The year 2018 was one of the best in our Bollywood diva, Deepika Padukone’s life. She gave a blockbuster hit Padmavaat, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Shahid Kapoor and her husband Ranveer Singh.
Since that film, Deepika took no new project,so that she can fully concentrate on the preparation for marriage, that took place in Italy’s Lake Como.The pictures were breathtaking.
Deepika recently, in her Facebook live session confessed that, after her marriage she really wanted to do a film based on a love story.But, those plans got changed.
After marriage, the story changed for her.when Meghna Gulzar came to her,with the film ‘Chhapaak’,it became irresistible for her. This is a brave living story about Laxmi Agarwal,an acid attack survivor.
Deepika was on board immediately,along with Vikrant Massey,from the ‘A Death In The Gunj’ fame. She said this powerful story needs to be told so that people get to know about reality a little more.
So, we all are impressed with Deepika’s choice of film, where portraying a brave story will be her sole aim. Check out her Instagram post,that she posted to confirm about this project.
