Reliance Industries Chairman and Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani will tie the knot with Anand Piramal, son of business tycoon Ajay Piramal, on December 12 at her Mumbai residence Antilia. The pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur saw a larger-than-life performance by Beyonce and former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton dancing with actor Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from all the big names from the industrial world, the who’s who of the Indian film industry are seen during the wedding.
To make the occasion a memorable one, Mukesh Ambani has ensured all the best possible arrangements. The 27-storey Antilia has been decked up with red flowers. Mukesh Ambani’s brother Anil, sister-in-law Tina, sons Anand and Aakash, wife Neeta and to-be daughters-in-law Radhika Merchant and Shloka Mehta were all present at the venue. Anand and Aakash arrived on horses.

During Isha’s pre-wedding festivities, pop sensation Beyonce performed at the event. For her private performance, various media reports assume it to be between $3 and $4 million (in Indian currency it comes out to Rs 21-28 crore).
As per our earlier reports, the pre-wedding parties were a grand affair as Ambanis hired more than 100 chartered flights to fly guests to and from Udaipur. The Ambanis also donated three meals a day to 5,100 people in Udaipur for four days as a gratitude towards the lake city.
Recently, Bloomberg reported that Mukesh Ambani shelled out over $100 million (Rs 710 crore) for his daughter’s wedding parties, which saw the attendance of Bollywood celebrities, sports personalities, and industrialists.
But people familiar with the planning has said that the cost of the marriage is not more than $15 million (nearly Rs 110 crore). But by all means, Rs 110 crore is not a small amount. But only people like Mukesh Ambani can afford it.
