Nawazuddin Siddiqui Performance In ‘Genius’ Trailer Will Make You Forget Ganesh Gaitonde!



Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of those gems of the Indian entertainment industry who have the capability to bring life to any character they play. Most recently, he was seen on screen as Ganesh Gaitonde in ‘Sacred Games’. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, ‘Sacred Games’ is India’s first ever Netflix series. The thrilling plot and remarkable acting by main leads Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte as well as supporting cast in the show has managed to impress the audiences hugely.

The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming flick ‘Genius’ is out. The 3 minutes 20 seconds long trailer is definitely a treat for those who couldn’t get enough of Ganesh Gaitonde in ‘Sacred Games’ because in this film, Nawazuddin will again be seen in a negative role.


The movie is the story of the life of an engineering student played by Utkarsh Sharma. ‘Genius’ is directed by Anil Sharma, the Indian filmmaker who also directed the super-blockbuster film ‘Gadar’. Apart from Nawazuddin Siddiqui, others in supporting roles are Mithun Chakraborty and Ayesha Jhulka.


The film will hit the theatres on August 24 but the trailer has already impressed lakhs of internet users. Released on July 23, ‘Genius’ trailer has already garnered close to 18 lakh views on YouTube alone and is on #1 in the list of trending videos on the video sharing platform.
