Fanney Khan: From Body Shaming To An Unusual Romantic Pairing

The trailer for Fanney Khan just dropped and unlike the intriguing teaser, it clearly pitches itself as a journey of 'the risk takers and rule breakers' pursuing childhood dreams.

Starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Rajkummar Rao, and Divya Dutta, the film marks the debut of newcomer Pihu Sand.

An official remake of the Dutch film Everybody’s Famous, the trailer definitely seems to keep intact the original storyline, where a desperate father kidnaps a pop star to support his daughter's singing career.

Anil Kapoor and Divya Dutta play the role of debutant Pihu's parents, while Aishwarya is reprising the role of pop star Baby.

Rajkummar Rao appears to play the role of Anil Kapoor's friend, and an admirer of Aishwarya Rai.

The trailer also takes on body shaming, something that producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had hinted at earlier as well.

The trailer apparently also brings together another unusual pairing in the form of Aishwarya Rai and Rajkummar Rao, and that is definitely one of the biggest highlights of the trailer.

Anil Kapoor appears to be the father who is not just working to fulfill his daughter's dreams but is also transferring his own unfulfilled desires on his daughter.

But, in both, Fanney and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Anil Kapoor seems to be exploring the beautiful father-daughter bond, and we are definitely excited about both.

The trailer definitely touches upon various issues, which raises our curiosity on how well the movie may deliver.
