She is an Indian film actress and a producer too. She became an overnight sensation when the news of her husband and former Karnataka CM H. D. Kumaraswamy's possible second tenure broke out.
#2 When did she do her first movie
Being a class 9th student, she shot for Neela Megha Shama, the year 2002 movie, Radhika's debut work (Ninagagi being her first release) and interestingly, she was just a 16-year-old teenager when she made her successful appearance on the silver screen. She did back-to-back 5+ movies in first two years of her entry into the entertainment industry.
#3 Radhika's first marriage
It is rumoured that when Radhika was just 14-YO, she eloped and married Mr Ratan Kumar secretly in Sri Durga Parameshwari temple, Kateel. Radhika's father, who was then scared that her film career would end, claimed that Ratan Kumar had lured and forced her into the marriage. Her father took his daughter back home in 2002.

In 2011, an advocate had filed a PIL against Mr Kumaraswamy seeking his disqualification from the parliament, in the Karnataka High Court stating that he had violated the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The petition was, however, dismissed.
In 2004, at the tender age of 18, she won Karnataka State Film Award for best actress for the film Tayi Illada Tabbali (2003). She is said to be an introvert and her production banner is named 'Samiksha Production'.
