It cannot simply be denied that Umesh K Shukla did an extraordinary job with the movie OMG - Oh My God! and we can't wait for 102 Not Out.
The movie is supposedly a comedy-drama starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor; the outstanding duo who has given some excellent performances in the past. To add to that, they are coming together on the silver screen after 27 years. And that was enough to create the hype around the film!
The film explores a unique relationship between a 102-year-old father and his 75-year-old son. But if these points fail to convince you to book your tickets, here are five reasons you should watch the movie.
1. It is based on a Gujarati play.
The movie 102 Not Out is based on a Gujarati play with the same name. Filmmaker Umesh Shukla had been working on the play for almost six years before realising that it could be converted into a movie.
2. The star cast.
The star cast of the movie is simply outstanding, featuring two of the biggest Bollywood legends. Both, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be seen in roles they've never done before. The duo was last seen in the film Ajoob that released in 1991.
3. It focuses on senior citizens.
Over the years, Bollywood has become youth-centric, but the protagonist of this movie are senior citizens, a group that is often neglected.
4. Quirky comedy.
The movie is a light-hearted comedy and going by the trailer, it sure looks promising.
