Honest Review Of Mauli Is Out. Will You Watch It?

The film Mauli, a Marathi language film, promised a star studded action packed drama with casts like Reteish Deshmukh, Jitendra Joshi, Saiyami Kher and Siddharth Jadhav. Not to mention it is a must watch if Lai Bhaari is one of your favorite.

So keeping up with any commercial film tradition Mauli has an excellent background score by none other than Ajay-Atul. The performance of Reteish Deshmukh as a fearless cop, Mauli Sarjerao Deshmukh and Saiyami Kher as Renuka is commendable. They did what it takes to make an action packed masala film to be standing in its own glory. Jitendra Joshi as the head of the illegal activities is very convincing in his act of villainy. Shrikant Yadav does his part well as Nana’s right hand. Vithoba through its absent presence makes the film way more endearing.
Though you should be restraining yourself from comparing it to any Bollywood masala film, still it got all the ingredients to make itself entertaining as well as a good watch! Even you will be comparing it with Lal Bhaari (2014) if you are a movie buff for real. This 136 minute action packed film managed to fuse in the mythological genre as well as the conventional art of a commercial film well.
Aditya Sarpotdar managed to keep the film going at top notch though you will fall back a little in the second half; this film is made for the mass, and kept its promise to impress them as well; Milap Zaveri did the rest. The film is neither a Singham nor a Rowdy Rathore, but it has its own way of exploring the commercial spot of enjoying it rather than mere watching it.
The camera work by Amalendu Choudhary is quite good; it explored itself through the slow motion impact on some scenes and the silhouette shots of the characters, which brought an edge to the framework as well.

Now if the film is to be rated, Mauli will get 3.5/5 stars.
