Birthdays are a special occasion for all. Whether you celebrate it or not, it serves as a reminder of your mortality and for your near and dear ones, a chance to commemorate the role you’ve played in their lives. And in the case of some individuals, the number of lives they affect in a lifetime is monumental.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one such prominent figure who has reached the lives of every Indian cricket fan. The former Indian captain’s contribution to the team has earned him much respect and reverence from all.
And so, on the occasion of his 37th birthday, he was greeted with enormous love from his family, friends and fans.
Dhoni, who is currently part of the Indian team playing against England, was serenaded with his teammates singing “Happy birthday” for him as he cut the cake. His wife, Sakshi and their cute little munchkin Ziva, were also present.
